Never wanting to book a " typical " tour, we were delighted when Culture Discovery Vacations popped up on our emails.
We booked our past September trip a year ago August, and since that day we have been extremely impressed w/ he CDV company! Not only did our booking go smoothly and professionally, but since we were landing in Rome we asked for advise on staying a few days there prior to the week in Norcia.
Rocky Cohen, was so helpful. Sending us great and expansive advice. We were delighted with all that we did there via his recommendations!!
Now on to the culinary tour in Norcia.
Beyond our expectations!!! Daniele was both charming and informative. The week was run beautifully and comprehensively.
The palazzo Seneca , our hotel was more than above and beyond our expectations. A special shout out to the staff, owners and all who made our stay so luxurious and comfortable.
The food: outrageously good. The lessons: fun and delicious and informative.
The pizza making: my favorite!!!!!
Winery tours, olive oil factories, trips to Assisi and Cortana , dinner in a locals home, and fun , fun, fun.
All I can say is if you love food, great people, wine, gorgeous scenery, being immersed in the culture of a small town in Umbria, Italy; book this trip. Or any of their other locations in Italy.
They all look fantastic and I personally am looking forward to going on their chianti/ Florence vacation in the future.
